Platinum Silicone

  FlowSmart is the only company in the world to industry to produce seals, sanitary gaskets and 24 foot hoses from platinum cured silicone. We produce platinum products in our Seaford Delaware Cleanroom facility.

Platinum Silicone is the highest in purity of any elastomer providing great low temperature and high temperature resistance making it ideal for freezing applications.

We've made thorough consideration in our platinum silicone compound selection. We've chosen a gum silicone compound to produce hose as gum offers superior tear resistance and wall strength. For seals we primarily utilize a liquid silicone material as LIM provides far better compression set than gum silicone. Gum is also molded by FlowSmart for those who have specified gum silicone.
